Increased Calcium Levels
Calcium is vital to plant health. It regulates opening and closing of the stomata (leaf pores), removes toxins from the tissue and contributes to the development of shoots and roots, making the plant more resistant to unwelcome invaders. Many acidic soils do not contain enough calcium to support prolific plant growth. When soil pH is below 6.0, plants may show signs of calcium deficiency such as leaf yellowing, retarded growth of roots and shoots, die-back of growing tips and premature death of older leaves. AGGRAND Liquid Lime applications easily correct calcium deficiencies without the need to till in bagged lime.
Promotes Soil Health
Soil liming is vital to the health of newly planted lawns, pastures or hayfields, increasing soil microbial activity and the proliferation of earthworms and beneficial insects. Optimum soil health depends on a proper annual fertilizing plan. AGGRAND Liquid Lime can help immediately produce green lawns, productive pastures and hay fields by delivering the calcium needed to promote superior plant growth.
